Referral for Present Psychiatry

Present Psychiatry welcomes referrals from clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare agencies. Our goal is to streamline the referral process and provide patients with prompt, high-quality mental health care. Our team is dedicated to responding to all referrals within a 2-hour timeframe during business hours.

We encourage the use of electronic referral forms for accurate and efficient referral processing.  Referrals can be made electronically using our [below] web form.

Information for your patient

  • Please ensure your patient is aware that the referral is being made.
  • Once the referral is ready for scheduling, Present Psychiatry will make a call attempt to the patient and leave a voicemail, if consent is provided. If the patient cannot be reached, the referring provider will be notified.

How to submit a referral

  • Please complete the following referral form in full, ensuring as much detail as possible is provided. Referrals received with insufficient information will be placed on hold until the information requested is received.
  • send the completed referral information via email to inquire@presentpsychiatry.com or fax it to (281-654-8662). Include all the requested details to help us process the referral quickly and accurately.
  • Our team will confirm receipt of the referral and reach out to the patient within 2 hours to initiate the scheduling and intake process.
  • You will receive confirmation of referral receipt when Access Present Psychiatry processes the referral.

If your patient is in need of immediate help, please direct them to the nearest emergency department or call 911
